Using Your Device

Device controls

• Power button - Powers the device on and off.
• LCD screen - Shows treatment types and settings, battery status, and Bluetooth connectivity.
• Plus button - Adjusts treatment settings.
• Left and right arrows - Toggle between treatment types shown on the screen.
• Attachment site - Magnetic connection to the device. Remove an attachment by gently pulling it. Each attachment has only one correct position.

Before every treatment

1. Charge the device before use.
2. Begin with clean, dry skin. Wash hands thoroughly. Do not allow the device to come into contact with colored solids (such as makeup), liquids, cosmetics, or oils, as they may stain.
3. Connect your treatment attachment to the magnetic attachment site. There is only one correct position for each attachment.
4. Turn on the device. Press and hold the power button. The LCD screen turns on when the device is on. The settings default to the treatment you last completed.
5. Optional: enable the beep function. The beep function gives audible timing cues and is off by default. Connect your device to the Therabody app via Bluetooth and toggle on the beep setting. Once enabled, it stays on even when the device is not connected.

Warning: Do not change attachments while the device is on.

CryoCurrent Attachment

1. Always apply SkinSpa Microcurrent Conductive Gel when using the CryoCurrent treatment. Before your first microcurrent treatment, test a small amount of the gel on a small patch of skin.
2. Select your microcurrent and cold settings. Press the arrows to toggle between therapy types and the plus button to adjust settings.
3. Allow the device to reach the treatment temperature.
4. Using light pressure, glide the device in an upward and outward pattern, or as instructed by the guided routines in the Therabody app. Each glide should be about 5 seconds long. If the beep function is on, a beep sounds every 5 seconds to pace each glide.
5. Once completed, apply gel to the other side of the face and repeat.
6. The device automatically shuts off after the 15-minute treatment is complete.

4-in-1 LED Attachment

1. Use the 4-in-1 LED Attachment over clean, dry skin.
2. Select your LED light setting. Press the arrows to toggle between therapy types. The treatment icon displays on the LCD screen.
3. Hover the device about 1 cm away from the face. The proximity sensor only allows full light brightness once the device is at the correct distance.
4. Hold the device over the treatment area for three minutes per area for each wavelength of light. If the beep function is on, you will hear 1 beep at 1 minute, 2 beeps at 2 minutes, and 3 beeps at 3 minutes, your signal to move to the next area.
5. The device automatically shuts off after the 12-minute treatment is complete.

Heat & Massage Attachment

1. Select your heat and vibration massage settings. Press the arrows to toggle between therapy types and the plus button to adjust settings at any point during your treatment.
2. Using light pressure, glide the device in upward and outward motions over the face, or as instructed by the guided routines in the Therabody app. An oil may be used, if desired, to help improve glide over the skin.
3. If the beep function is on, three beeps sound at the 3-minute mark of the 6-minute session.
4. The device automatically shuts off after the 6-minute treatment is complete.

Turning off the device

A “Treatment Complete” message appears on the screen at the end of your treatment. Press and hold the power button at any point to turn off the device. The device automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity when connected to the app, or after 3 minutes of inactivity when not connected. The device fan may continue to run after a CryoCurrent treatment. This is normal; it turns off automatically when the internal temperature returns to baseline.

Therapy Overview

Recommended Use: Each treatment can be used up to once per day, seven days per week. This device is not intended to be used more than once per day per individual.

Normal use of heat and vibration massage increases blood flow to your face, which may cause some redness. This is normal and should subside within 20 minutes. Microcurrent therapy causes a tingling sensation that varies by sensitivity and skin thickness. If it is uncomfortable, reduce the microcurrent level. If it is painful, discontinue use. Immediately stop using the device at the first sign of discomfort.

Charging and LED Indicator Guide

The device is USB-C enabled and comes with a charging cable. Before charging, ensure that the device is powered off. Do not use the device while it is charging.

• Connect one end of the charging cable to the USB-C charging port on the device. It is located at the bottom of the device. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a power adapter.
• When the device is in use, the battery level appears in the top left corner of the screen. When the device is charging, a battery icon with the battery percentage appears in the center of the screen.

The battery life of the device is 60+ minutes, depending on the settings used. Always use a power adapter that meets these limits: maximum power output 20W, voltage range 5V to 15V, and maximum current 3A. Do not use an adapter that exceeds any of these ratings.

Care and Cleaning

• The SkinSpa is NOT waterproof. Do not submerge the device in water, clean it under running water, or apply excessive cleaning solutions or disinfectants. Do not allow the device to come into contact with corrosive solutions.
• Before cleaning, turn off the device. Ensure that the device is not connected to a charging cable or power source.
• Visually inspect the device for any obvious signs of debris build-up.
• Wipe off any visible dirt with a disposable cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Be sure to wipe all skin-contacting surfaces of the device. Next, use a soft cloth with 70% isopropyl alcohol to wipe and disinfect the device for three (3) minutes. Repeat this process three times. Finally, wipe the device with a clean, dry cloth until there is no visible residue.
• After cleaning, allow the device to dry thoroughly before storing or beginning another treatment. A properly cleaned device should have no visible signs of debris or moisture.
• For best hygiene practice, clean the device after every use.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place (32°F / 0°C – 86°F / 30°C). Do not store it in direct sunlight or in a vehicle.
